Transparency is key for us at BF. In one of our early runs in 2020 we had two full tables, one with Banana Sundae (Banana Og x Sundae Driver) and the other of Nilla Wafer (Sundae Driver x Wedding Cake) both Cannarado hybrids. This phenotype of Banana Sundae had a unique nose unlike anything else we had in the garden at the time. The Banana Sundae ended up pollinating the Nilla Wafer. Due to its unique terpene profile as well as the potential through its lineage this cross intrigued us, we were curious of the various phenotypical variations this cross could demonstrate thus we grew her out the remainder of her cycle and harvested the seeds. The result was mostly a hybridization of the two with a couple anomalies standing out. Our keeper pheno has the terpene profile that is the result of an overripened banana with a smooth crisp buttery melt in your mouth feeling. Immediately triggering your prefrontal cortex and that sense of nostalgia. After the first hit you immediately transport back to your grandmother’s kitchen or your favorite diner for a piece of that beloved Banana Cream Pie. This hybrid is a smooth smoke and one that is unique to Bountiful Farms.
