Juneteenth Freedom Concert at Tower Square | Springfield, MA

Join us for the Juneteenth Freedom Concert, a community celebration honoring freedom, culture, and unity through music, education, and local engagement.

Presented in partnership with the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, White Lion Brewing Company, and 6 Bricks, this special event brings together live performances, community voices, local vendors, and opportunities for learning and connection. Attendees will enjoy an inspiring afternoon featuring the Avery Sharpe Quintet, Springfield Symphony Orchestra musicians, the Extended Family Choir, and the Springfield Symphony Chorus.

As we commemorate Juneteenth—the day enslaved people in Texas learned of their freedom on June 19, 1865—we invite the community to come together in celebration, reflection, and appreciation of Black history, culture, and contributions.
